The 12-Month Writer’s Workshop: Fiction & Memoir

Do you have a novel or memoir waiting to be written? This year-long, progressive course is designed for serious aspiring authors of fiction and creative non-fiction. Over the next year, you will master essential storytelling techniques, complete hands-on assignments, and participate in a collaborative workshop environment giving and receiving constructive peer feedback.

• Character Development & Point of View

• Immersive World-Building

• Structuring Scenes, Prologues, and Epilogues

• Polishing Prose (Active vs. Passive Voice)

• Drafting Book Descriptions & Blurbs

Course Expectations: This program operates as a committed writing circle. To respect the progress of the class, please note the following requirements:

• Full-Year Commitment: Attendance through November 2026 is required. No make-up sessions will be provided.

• Day One Attendance: Registration is only finalized upon attendance on the first day.

• Waitlist Note: Waitlisted patrons must attend the first session to fill any vacant seats.
