Stop the Bleed Stop the Bleed empowers the general public to make a difference in a life-threatening emergency by teaching them the basic techniques of bleeding control. This course includes a formal presentation and hands-on practice of direct pressure application, wound packing, and use of a tourniquet. No matter how rapid the arrival of professional emergency responders, bystanders will always be first on the scene and those nearest to someone with life threatening injuries are best positioned to provide first care. Participants will receive a C.A.T or SWAT-T upon completion of course.
